The Monmouth County Fine Arts Festival will be held on Belmar's Main Street plaza/promenade and municipal parking fields.  The Festival is sponsored by the Asbury Park Press. Monmouth County ranks 42nd among the highest-income counties in the United States. It also is ranked 53rd in the United States by personal per-capita income and is one of the Jersey shore's leading resorts. Belmar beach is among the most popular surf spots on the East Coast. Belmar frequently hosts surfing events and competitions. Monmouth County offers a world of activities. With 27 miles of pristine ocean beaches, an array of historic sites, two of the nation's best racetracks, deep sea and fresh water fishing, shopping and numerous upscale restaurants. Belmar's "E" Street is world famous as it gave rise to Bruce Springsteen's "E Street Band".
