Smith Point County Park - Shirley
Smith Point, on the fire Island barrier beach, is a haven for sportmen, surfers and beach lovers. The park offers camping, fishing, scuba diving, swimming, and a food concession. A nationally recognized team of lifeguards make Smith Point its home base.

Cupsogue Beach County Park- Westhampton
This 296 acre barrier beach park offers lifeguard supervised Atlantic Ocean swimming, sun bathing on white sand beaches, and some of the finest saltwater bass fishing on the Island. A snack bar, restrooms, first aid center, shower, and changing rooms are all situated at Cupsogues pavilion. This park offers outer beach access.
