Englewood Seafood & Music Festival

Want relaxing fun and good food for the weekend?  Delve into delicious freshly-made foods, spectacular live musical performances by top Florida musicians and shopping a marketplace of arts, crafts and select fine products at he 2nd Annual Englewood Seafood & Music Festival in Pioneer Park, Englewood on January 25-27, 2019.  Partake of a weekend of pure enjoyment and relaxation!  The fun starts Friday evening 4pm - 10pm and continues Saturday 11am - 10pm and Sunday 11am - 6pm. Admission is FREE!  The event is produced by Paragon Festivals.

 

For food, choose from a variety of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes all cooked fresh on site by local restaurants and food purveyors. Seafood dishes are prepared using only the freshest local and sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast. Select from a diversity of side dishes and of course - awesome desserts!  Liquid refreshment includes alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks.  

 

While immersed in food, listen to some of Florida’s top musical groups from genres such as R&B, blues, jazz, rock and Caribbean sounds. Friday night performers are:  Mike Tozier (country, folk, Delta blues), Sarasota Steel Pan Band (calypso, reggae, Latin, Brazilian) and the Kate Keys Band (blues, rock, variety).  Saturday performances are by: Kettle of Fish (rock),  CeCe Teneal & Soul Kamotion (blues, soul, roots), Reverend Barry & The Funk (funk, soul), the Billy Rice Band (country rock) and the Bob Marley Tribute Band featuring Yvad (reggae).  Sunday performances are by: The New Rulers (ska, reggae, soul, rocksteady), The Whole Band featuring Callie Chappell (Americana, rock, bluegrass and R&B), Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio (rock, soul), and the Caribbean Chillers (Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band).

 

During breaks between performances, enjoy shopping a marketplace of fine arts, crafts, and select fine products and food items.

  • From South Tamiami Trail (Hwy. 41) in Venice, take Hwy. 776 (Englewood Rd.) southbound
  • Proceed about 7 mi. to Dearborn St.
  • Turn RIGHT onto W. Dearborn St.
  • Proceed about 0.5 mi. west
  • Pioneer Park is on the left

From Port Charlotte Town Center

  • Proceed westbound on Hwy. 776 about 18 miles to downtown Englewood and Dearborn St.
  • Turn LEFT onto W. Dearborn St.
  • Proceed about 0.5 mi west
  • Pioneer Park is on the left

Coming Southbound on I-75 from Sarasota and points North

  • Proceed southbound to Exit 191 (Hwy. 777 - N. River Rd.)
  • Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Hwy. 777 (N. River Rd.)
  • Proceed about 7 miles SOUTH
  • As N. River Rd. crosses Hwy. 41 (Tamiami Trail) it becomes S. River Rd.
  • Continue on S. River Rd. about 8.0 to the east side of Englewood and Pine St.
  • At this point, Hwy. 777 (S. River R.) becomes Dearborn St.
  • Proceed west on Dearborn St. about 1.3 mi
  • Pioneer Park will be on the left
